Four Malaysian students from SJKT KO Sarangapany and SMK Sultan Badlishah, made Malaysia proud as they achieved a remarkable success at the Bangkok Innovation Awards. Where they won two gold medals and secured second place in the Engineering category for primary school.
Human Resource Minister YB Dato’Sri Ramanan Ramakrishnan hailed the students achievement, where he described it as a reflection of the younger generation’s ability to uphold the country’s name and dignity through innovation and academic excellence.

The students who accomplished this are Illaneyan Yuvarajan, and M.Theerchanna, from SJKT KO Sarangapany, along with Illanarun Yuvarajan and M.Elamaaran from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sultan Badlishah. The 4 students stood out among competitors, and showcased their skills in the engineering field.

Dato Ramanan also extended his appreciation to the student’s parents, acknowledging their sacrifices and support as they took leave just to follow their children to Bangkok and provide support. He also noted that this achievement is not a result of just an individual effort, but built on a strong family encouragement.

In addition, Dato Ramanan has also recognized the role of the teachers in guiding the students towards success, highlighting the importance of mentorship in nurturing young talents. He also shared a heartfelt moment when the students requested his autograph as a remembrance, while he accepted it with honor, he took this opportunity to encourage them to continue striving towards their goals.

Expressing this spirit for the future, Dato Ramanan said this achievement should be an inspiration for more Malaysian youths to pursue innovation and excellence.

He added that such accomplishments not only reflect individual success, but also contribute to strengthening Malaysia’s position as a competitive nation on international stage.
