Kollywood industry is set to welcome Dhaarshan, Legendary Sivaji Ganesan’s grandson, as he makes his debut in a upcoming film titled “Lenin Pandiyan”. Adding to it’s excitement, music maestro Ilaiyaraaja will be the music composer of the film.
The film is also special as Ilaiyaraaja and veteran producer T G Thyagarajan is going to collaborate after nearly 3 decades. The duo had previously given memorable hits in Tamil cinema, such as Moondram Pirai, Kaakki Sattai, and Pagal Nilavu. They are known for having timeless music, and fans are excited to see what they will bring to this new film.
Darshan in Lenin Pandiyan, takes on the role of a police officer, making a significant step into the industry. The announcement of Ilaiyaraaja’s involvement was made through a special video titled “Welcoming Music Master”, which quickly caught the attention of audiences and sparked nostalgia.
The film also features a strong supporting cast,including actress Roja, who returns to big screen, and Gangai Amaran, Ilaiyaraaja’s younger brother, in a key role. The mix of experienced named and fresh talent has raised expectations for the film.
Set against a rural backdrop, Lenin Pandiyan is expected to explore village life and social realities in Tamil Nadu. with cinematography by A Edwin Sakai, art direction by Adhuri Jayakumar, editing by Nagooran Ramachandran, and action by Thalapathy Dinesh, the film brings a strong technical team together.
With it’s blend of music, legacy and storytelling, Lenin Pandiyan is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Tamil releases to look out for.
