The release date of Gatham Vasudev Menon’s Enai Noki Paayum Thota (ENPT) starring Dhanush and Megha Akash in the lead has been going back and forth for a couple of months now.

The film was officially launched on March 14, 2016, with the team going in for a shoot. Later, there was a break owing to production issues. Eventually, the team resumed shoot in late 2017 and the film was wrapped by September 2018.

There was a speculation that the film would hit the screens late last year, but the team kept postponing the release owing to financial issues. Recently, it was reported that Gautham Menon has cleared a part of his financial debt by selling the audio right of ENPT recently and amount yielded through the theatrical rights of the film will also be used to clear the debt.

The director himself has confirmed on his Twitter handle that the film will hit the screens on September 6. He posted,

“With due respect and thanks to everybody involved with this film, the investors, people who have stood by the film and me, to those who have invested across my other films, to everybody who’s been of some form of support or the other to me.”

He also posted a link of the new trailer that gives a glimpse of this romantic thriller. The film also has Sasikumar, Sunaina and Sathish Krishnan in pivotal roles. Rana Daggubatti has done a cameo in the film.
