Kajal Aggarwal And Suriya Might In Director Siva's!

If Kajal comes on board, it will be the second time she’ll star with Suriya after KV Anand’s ‘Maattrraan’.

Kajal Aggarwal, who was recently seen in Tamil romantic comedy Comali, has reportedly been approached for Suriya’s upcoming film, dubbed as Suriya 39,with director Siva of Veeram and Viswasam fame.

If Kajal comes on board, it will be the second time she’ll be paired with Suriya after KV Anand’s Maattrraan.

Studio Green will bankroll Suriya 39 which will be a city-based commercial entertainer. The makers are yet to reveal the rest of the cast and crew. However, it is learnt from reliable sources that the project will only go on the floors later this year.

The project has been in the pipeline for a few months now. Apparently, Siva had a commitment with Studio Green to do a project for more than a year and finally managed to find time now.

Suriya is currently busy shooting for Sudha Kongara’s Soorarai Pottru, based on the life of Captain GR Gopinath, founder of the budget airline Air Deccan. Being produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, Soorarai Pottrumarks the southern debut of well-known Bollywood producer Guneet Monga, who will be co-producing this project.

GV Prakash Kumar has been roped in to compose music. He’s apparently already composed all the songs for the project.

It’s going to be a busy 2019 for Suriya as he will have three releases. With Selvaraghavan’s NGK being Suriya’s first release of the year, the actor is keenly looking forward to the release of Kaappaan, in which he plays a bodyguard to the Prime Minister, played by Mohanlal in the film.
