Holy shit! The teaser trailer for Superstar Rajnikanth’s upcoming movie Kaala is here and it looks MASS.
Kaala is written and directed by Pa. Ranjith and centres around the life of a Mumbai-based don Karikalan, played by thalaivar Superstar himself. The film also stars Huma Qureshi, Samuthirakani, and Anjali Patil. While not much is known about the movie yet, it is said that it will follow a character who runs away from Tirunelveli to Mumbai during his childhood and becomes a powerful don living in the slums of Dharavi.
While I wasn’t a fan of Pa. Ranjith’s previous film, also starring Rajnikanth, Kabali, this teaser got my adrenaline pumping. I don’t know if the movie is going to be good, but Rajnikanth sure as hell looks GREAT.
The only downside to the teaser is Santhosh Narayanan’s soundtrack.
#Kaala teaser looks pretty damn kickass, but I'm not a fan of Santhosh Narayanan's soundtrack/score. His music is too 'young' and heavy. It doesn't scream "aged gangster." And it's so loud… loud for the sake of being loud.

The movie is scheduled to release on April 27th, 2018.
