Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all set to present a special feature on India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi titled ‘Mann Bairagi’. The film is based on an untold story from the life of PM Modi which has not been in the public domain so far.
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar took to his social media handles to share the first look poster of the film. Sharing the poster, Akshay captioned, “Happy to present the first look of Sanjay Leela Bhansali & Mahaveer Jain’s special feature, #MannBairagi on the defining moment of our PM’s life on his birthday! #HappyBirthdayPMModi”
The film is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and will be co-produced by Mahaveer Jain. The film is written & directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy.
Speaking about the film, ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali said, “What interested me in the story was it’s universal appeal and message. The story was very well researched and the turning point of our PM’s life, as a young man, really intrigued me. I felt that it’s a story that is unheard of and needs to be told”.
Director Sanjay Tripaathy is certain that this film will touch a chord with everyone. He said, “For me, it’s a human interest story about the self-discovery of a person who went on to become such a strong leader of our country.
