Popular comedian Karthik Kumar is all set to take the directorial plunge with the upcoming film Justice League. After over a decade of acting, the actor has finally decided to turn director.

Calling it the beginning of a new journey in the actor’s career, the makers said that it would be a hilarious entertainer and liked by children and adults alike. They also promised that it would be one which would be loved by a cross-section of film buffs. Justice League, which has been directed by Mrs BR Vijayalaskhmi, went on to the floors on September 23 in Chennai. The upcoming film also stars Bhagyaraj and veteran comedic icons Pandiaraj, Oorvasi, and Manobala. 
Karthik Kumar made hit silver screen debut with the 2000 film Alaipayuthey, in which he shared screen space with R Madhavan and Shalini. He later appeared in Saathiya, Vaanam Vasappadum, Yuva, Kanda Naal Mudhal, Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Poi Solla Porom, Ninaithale Inikkum, Edhuvum Nadakkum, Kola Kolaya Mundhirika, Deiva Thirumagal, Veppam, Pasanga 2, Mannar Vagaiyara and Devarattam.
