Darbar is one of the much-awaited movies of the year. It has created a massive buzz among film buffs. Starring Rajinikanth and Nayanthara, the action thriller is slated to release on January 14, 2020. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, the film also stars Suniel Shetty, Shriya Saran, Yogi Babu, Thambi Ramaiya, Sriman, Prateik Babbar, Jatin Sarna, Nawab Shah and Dalip Tahil.
Nivetha Thomas, who made her Tamil film debut with Kuruvi, in which she was seen as a child artist, has revealed that her character in the film. She explained that she will be seen playing the daughter of Rajinikanth and her father name in the movie is Aaditya Arunachalam.
The 23-year-old actress took to Twitter to reveal the same. She wrote, ”And now for the world to know! There is and will only be ONE #AadityaArunachalam And he is MY Appa. Watch! Out! #Darbar.”

Nivetha went on to star in films such as Poraali, Naveena Saraswathi Sabatham, Jilla, and Papanasam. Darbar’s music composer Anirudh Ravichander announced that the motion poster of Darbar will be unveiled on November 7. Stunt master Peter Hein has choreographed stunt sequences in the movie, which has cinematography handled by Santosh Sivan. A Sreekar Prasad is in charge of editing. On the other hand, Rajinikanth is all set to team up with director Siruthai Siva for Thalaivar 168. Sun Pictures will bankroll the movie.
