Adithya Varma is a launchpad for Dhruv Vikram. Fans have high expectations on this film. And as expected, Vikram was present at the event and spoke in detail about his son’s hard work for his debut.

Vikram also went on to reveal that Sivakarthikeyan had penned the lyrics for a song in the film. The star said that when he had called Sivakarthikeyan, requesting him to pen a song, the latter immediately agreed. The song has come out well, Vikram added. It may be noted here that Sivakarthikeyan had first penned lyrics for the Nayanthara starrer Kolamavu Kokila and the song was composed by Anirudh. His next song was for Gurkha and then came one for Namma Veetu Pillai, which had him in the lead role.

It may be noted here that Dhruv Vikram was to have made his acting debut with the Bala directorial Varmaa, the first Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy. But this project was scrapped entirely after the shooting was completed owing to creative differences between director Bala and the producer.

The producers later announced that the entire film will be re-shot with debutant Gireesaaya helming it as the director. The director had worked as an assistant to director Sandeep Vanga, who had directed Arjun Reddy.

The producer had retained Dhruv Vikram and music composer Radhan for the new version of the remake while the rest of the star cast and crew were discarded. While Bala’s version had Megha Chowdhury and Raiza Wilson as the female leads, the new version brought in Banita Sandhu and Priya Anand in their place. Ravi K Chandran is cranking the camera for this venture. This film is now gearing up for release on November 8.
