Suriya-Hari’s Next Film Will Not Be Another Singam Sequel!

The film gods must have heard us finally! Imagine if there were to be a Singam 4; well I don’t want to only because I might die from how bad the film will be!

After the commercial entertainer, Kaappaan, Suriya will next be seen in Sudha Kongara’s Soorarai Pottru. Following this, he was supposed to work on a film with director Siva (of Viswasam fame), but then the director got an opportunity to do a film with Rajinikanth.

So, now, Suriya has picked Hari, who is also known for his family entertainers, and is a bankable name in the B and C centres. It will mark the sixth time the actor and the director are coming together, after Aaru, Vel, and the Singam films.

Says a source, “Suriya has wrapped up his portions in Sudha Kongara’s film. The Hari project will go on floors in a month or so. It will not be a fourth Singam film, but will be based on a fresh script.”

Suriya has always been a versatile actor and he is able to carry out difficult roles. However, Singam was one of those few films Surya may or may not have purposely took on for his commercial audience.
