The first look of Jayam Ravi’s 25th film titled as Bhoomi was released yesterday. The movie will revolve around farmers, the first look poster confirms that the movie is about farmers as Jayam Ravi is seen along with a group of old farmers. The first look also tells us that the film will be intense and packed with current issues faced by farmers in the state.
The movie directed by Lakshman is the third collaboration of the actor and director after Romeo Juliet and Bogan. The movie is bankrolled by Jayam Ravi’s mother-in-law Sujatha Vijayakumar’s own production house, Home Movie Makers. Actress Nidhhi Agerwal of Savyasachi fame is making her debut in Kollywood with this film while D. Imman is the music director of the film.
Ravi who was last seen in Comali is said to play an important role in Mani Ratnam’s dream project Ponniyin Selvan. It is also speculated that the actor will join his brother, director Mohan Raja for Thani Oruvan 2 after this film.
