Actor Madhavan is all set to star in Tamil movie titled ‘Maara’, which will be directed by debutant Dhilip whose claim to fame is a short film titled Kalki. The film will have Shraddha Srinath playing his lead pair, who had shared the screen space with Madhavan in the hit movie Vikram Vedha. The latest about the film is that stand up comedian Alexander Babu is set to make his debut in films with ‘Maara’.
The young stand up comedian took to his social networking page to give a hint about the same. Whether Alex will act in the movie or he will be writing the comedy track/ dialogues for the movie is not confirmed yet, and an official announcement is awaited. Alex had apprently spent a few days with Madhavan and director Dhilip in Kochi recently.
Sharing a picture with Madhavan and Dhilip, Alex wrote, “Spent a few days again in rainy Kochi this week hanging out with the one and only Madhavan, Dhilip and the gang. Learning so much through this big special project. Waiting for the formal announcement!”
Maara is touted to be a ‘pure romance drama’ that will see the Vikram Vedha pair together again on screen. The film will have music by Ghibran.
