Kamal Hassan is soon expected to kick-start his dropped film ‘Thalaivan Irukkindran’ after ‘Indian 2’ directed by Shankar. The Ulaganayagan had earlier revealed that music composer AR Rahman will be composing music for the film. The two previously worked together in Thenali in 2000. The project marks Kamal Haasan’s reunion with Rahman after 19 years.
He revealed that AR Rahman has already given him two superhit songs for the film. There have been reports that film titled Thalaivan Irukkindran which is reportedly based on a life of a politician is also expected to feature actor Vadivelu.
‘Thalaivan Irukkindran’ was stalled for various reasons, but many said it will be a controversial flick and that is why it had been postponed. The film was earlier planned as a Hindi-Tamil bilingual with Kamal playing the lead in Tamil and a Bollywood actor fronting it in Hindi. With the project set to revived now, it is still unclear what plans Kamal Haasan for the film.
