The motion poster of Darbar, Rajinikanth’s upcoming film has finally been released.
Released by Kamal Hassan on his social media platform, the Tamil motion poster features Rajinikanth as a police officer, named Aaditya Arunasalam. The character looks like he is just about to get into a fight, just before he slashes someone, drawing blood.
Needless to say, Superstar looks sharp in his police uniform, but the fans are left wondering why he is wearing a brown jacket over it.
The film is set to be an action thriller, and Rajinikanth will be playing a police officer after two decades. His most memorable police character was in Moondru Mugam, where he played Alex Pandian, thus making the name synonymous with many future film cops.
Darbar, directed by A R Murugadoss, stars Rajinikanth, Nayanthara, Sunil Shetty, Nivetha Thomas and Yogi Babu. The music is composed by Anirudh. The film will hit the screens on the 15th of January next year.
