The first look of director Mani Ratnam’s upcoming production venture Vaanam Kottattum has been released. The film is directed by Dhana Sekaran of Padaiveeran fame who has also co-written the film along with Mani Ratnam.
The film stars Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Rajesh and Madonna Sebastian in the lead roles. While Director Balaji Sakthivel, Nandha, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Amitash Pradhan, real-life couple Sarath Kumar and Radikaa Sarathkumar portraying supporting roles. Though the star couple shared screen space in Chennaiyil Oru Naal, it’s been almost 20 years since Sarath Kumar and Radikaa paired up for a film. In this film they will be seen playing husband and wife on screen.

The film is touted to be a family drama, Vikram Prabhu and Aishwarya will be seen playing brother – sister while Sarath Kumar and Radikaa Sarathkumar will play their parents. Madonna would be paired opposite Vikram Prabhu.
Sid Sriram and the makers have also announced that the first single from the film will be launched on Friday by Oscar winner AR Rahman.
Sid Sriram will be making his debut as a music composer with this film. Debutant Sangathamizhan E is in charge of editing, Preetha Jayaraman niece of ace filmmaker PC Sriram has been signed as the film’s cinematographer and lyrics will be by Siva Ananth.
