The highly anticipated trailer of Rajinikanth’s next flick, Darbar has been released earlier today. And surprise surprise, Thalaivar may just be reprising his villainous streak in this police action flick!
“We live to protect! We die to serve!” Rajinikanth says, as he plays Comissioner of Police, Adithya Arunasalam, based in Mumbai. “Original-a ve naan villain, ma!” he affirms before going into a singsong of “I’m a bad cop,”
Suniel Shetty (whose suave beard steals the show in his Tamil comeback) is the baddie and he is convincing enough to make us want to root for Thalaivar. Nayanthara doesn’t disappoint either, and she matches Rajinikanth’s enigmatic screen presence in the trailer.
