A few weeks ago, Ajith kickstarted his next film Valimai, directed by H Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor.
The makers of Valimai haven’t announced the rest of the cast and crew apart from Ajith. However, rumours suggest that they are in talks with actor Prasanna to play the baddie in the film.
A fan asked Prasanna if he is a part of Valimai and he his reply was funny!
Replying to the fan’s question, the Thupparivaalan actor wrote, “Not yet bro. Waiting for confirmation. (sic)” This indeed hints that the team had been in touch with Prasanna for the film.
An official confirmation regarding his inclusion will be out in the coming weeks.

Earlier, it was reported that Bollywood actress Yami Gautam has been approached to play the female lead in the film. However, neither Yami Gautam nor H Vinoth spoke about roping her in as the heroine.
Producer Boney Kapoor, in an earlier interview, revealed that Ajith will be essaying the role of a police officer in the film. At a recent award function, he said, “Valimai is a commercial entertainer high on emotional quotient. We are planning to release the film on Diwali 2020.”
