It came as a huge shock for almost everybody under the sun when actor Arya decided to participate in a reality TV show in order to find love.
Tall, dark, handsome, charming, smooth, suave, and fit – Arya should have no trouble finding a girl for himself. Unfortunately, he has not been so lucky when in the matters of love. After spending years trying and failing, Arya wanted to try a different way, something that he hasn’t done before, and something that may not agree with a lot of people. He resorted to reality TV.
“I’ve been trying to find the right person all these years. But it hasn’t happened till now. It’s not that I didn’t want to get married. I have been trying to find the right person and get married for so many years. But nothing worked out,” the Madrasapattinam actor said in an interview with Times Of India.
“So, I thought, let me try this,” he added.
However, Arya is aware of the fact that reality TV doesn’t guarantee that he will find ‘the one’. But it does help him meet people from all walks of life, which is what he wants.
The show is now down to only 7 girls, which means Arya is inching very close to finding the love of his life. When asked about the next season of Enga Veetu Mapillai, Arya joked that his friend Vishal might be next.
“I told Vishal, ‘adutha season-la nee vanthu kalyanam pannikko’,” Arya said.
It is a joke, but it is very likely that we might see that happening – since Vishal is hitting 40 and is still single!
