The famous playback singer and voice artiste Chinmayi Sripaada, who was banned from the Dubbing Union is now contesting for the President post against Radha Ravi in the upcoming election.
On January 30, Chinmayi has announced that she is contesting the dubbing union election for the President post in the upcoming election.
In 2018, the singer was banned from the Tamil dubbing union by the then president Radharavi after she outed lyricist Varaimuthu’s name as a sexual harasser. Chinmayi has since slammed Radharavi’s speeches and regressive acts.
Chinmayi has decided to take her rival on Radharavi directly. She will be contesting with other members under the name Ramarajyam, which is the first full-length Tamil dubbed film that released in 1977.
