Pawan Kalyan will play Amitabh Bachchan’s role in the Telugu remake of super-hit Hindi film Pink. The recent development is that the makers have already finalised the three heroines who will play the lead roles.
Nivetha Thomas, Anjali and Ananya Nagalla have been roped in to play the roles of Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang respectively. A few weeks ago, Pawan Kalyan and the rest of the team commenced shooting and photos of his look were leaked on the Internet.
The Telugu remake, which is jointly produced by Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju, will be helmed by director Sriram Venu. Composer SS Thaman, who is riding on the success of Ala Vaikuntapuramloo has been roped in as the music director.
In 2019, actor Ajith starred in the Tamil remake of Pink titled Nerkonda Paarvai, which was directed by H Vinoth of Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru fame. The movie made it to the ‘Best Films of 2019’ lists for being faithful to the original and also imparting a much-needed message for the society.
Pink, directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, featured Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang in the lead roles.
