Remember the Super Singer Junior auditions that were held in Kuala Lumpur by Star Vijay Malaysia late last year? They’ve paid off because a Malaysian contestant has made it to Super Singer Junior 7!
12-year-old Jayashree Maran has made us all proud by making it to the top 20 of Super Singer Junior 7. The Melaka lass is currently in India for the filming of the show. This is the first time a Malaysian contestant has been selected for the show.`
Super Singer Junior 7 premieres tonight on Vijay TV. The show will air at 8 pm IST every Saturday and Sunday. The singing competition is judged by singers Shankar Mahadevan, Chitra, Kalpana Raghavendar and Nakul. Priyanka Deshpande and Ma Ka Pa Anand will be reprising their roles as the show’s hosts.
Malaysia is now a force to be reckoned with, thanks to the immense amount of talent we have here. We are so excited for young Jayashree!
The first episode of Super Singer Junior 7 will air on Vijay TV tonight at 8.00 pm IST.
