Pulanaivu made headlines last year when it became the first Malaysian Tamil movie to be screened in 65 cinemas including cinemas in the states of Terengganu, Sabah and Sarawak.
The movie recently won ‘Best Screenplay’ and ‘Best Actor Female’ awards at the 11th Norway Tamil Film Festival.
The romantic crime thriller film was directed by Shalini Balasundaram and Satish Natarajan.
Award-winning Malaysian actress Datin Seri Shaila V delivers an outstanding performance as the top notch police officer. She clinched the Best Actor – Female award.
