Kanika Kapoor, known for her song Baby Doll is the first Indian celebrity who tested positive for Covid-19. The 41-year-old singer is currently admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi PGIMS in Lucknow, where she’s being quarantined as a part of her treatment.
The star attended at least three parties here in which several VIPs, including a Lok Sabha MP, a former chief minister, a UP minister along with 100 others were present. Those who have been in contact with Kanika Kapoor like Dushyant Singh and Varun Gandhi are in self-isolation.
According to reports, the singer landed in Lucknow from London on Sunday and was among the four to have contracted the disease in Uttar Pradesh on Friday.
