Anushka Shetty is one of the topmost superstars of the generation. She chooses to do a film or two a year but her movies and the roles she chooses to don are the most anticipated. Anushka’a Nishabdham also starring Madhavan is in the media-eye for a while now.
The duo’s chemistry, the thriller genre everything seems to be quite intriguing. In a recent, Anushka has also talked about how she will take everything slow-paced and will not rush into signing a lot of films as she also concentrates on her health and well-being.
Now the speculations are rife that the actress is very much a part of Kamal Haasan’s Vetaiyadu Vilayaadu 2. This film will be directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. It is reported that the director met at Kamal’s office to discuss about the possibility of a sequel.
The actor-politician was reportedly quite impressed with the idea and agreed to be a part of it.
Interestingly, Gautham Menon, who is currently working with Anushka Shetty for a female-centric film, has apparently approached her to play Kamal Haasan’s love interest in the film.
Sources say that the director will be doing two movies for Ishari K Ganesh’s Vels Films International. One of the two will be with Suriya. The other one might be with Kamal Haasan. However, he will make an official announcement only after completing the shoot of Joshua, starring Varun in the lead role.
On the professional front, Kamal is yet to resume the shoot of his next Indian 2 whereas Gautham Menon is awaiting the release of his nextvDhruva Natchathiram starring actor Vikram in the lead role.
