Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala is the most anticipated movie this year. The movie, directed by Pa Ranjith, was initially set for release on the 27th of April 2018.

However, the ongoing strike by the Tamil Film Producers Council (TPFC) has made it unlikely for Kaala to hit the screens in April. According, the TPFC chief Vishal, the strike will go on until all of their demands are met.

On the other hand, Kaala is ready for release with fans burning with anticipation all over the world. Kaala has been awarded a U/A certificate and agreed to all 14 cuts by the Central Board of Film Certification.

Written and directed by Pa. Ranjith, Kaala revolves around the life of a Mumbai-based don Karikalan. The film also stars Huma Qureshi, Samuthirakani, and Anjali Patil.
