Making Maruttu Neer This Hindu New Year?

Maruttu Neer is usually sprinkled on devotees at the temples during the celebration of the Hindu New Year. This year, however, many of us will not get sprinkled by the assistant priest during our worship.

As the temples are closed due to the Movement Control Order, here’s how you can make your own at home.

And there you go, another activity to keep your MCO going. Let’s hope this year’s Hindu New Year marks the end of this partial lockdown.
