Rakul Preet has now launched her own YouTube channel. She announced it on her Instagram page in conjunction with World Health Day. The actor revealed that the revenue generated through her YouTube channel will go to the PM-CARES to help fight the novel coronavirus pandemic.
She also requested her fans to spread joy and happiness in whatever way they can. She wrote, “A lot of time on hand so I thought of launching my YouTube channel which will have all things fun !! The revenue generated will go to PMO India fund ! Let’s spread joy and happiness in whatever way we can. Subscribe now to make a difference !! and because it’s world health day we kickstart with… umm check out the video. (sic).”
In one of her earlier posts, the actress stressed on the importance of mental, physical and emotional health while quarantining.
She wrote, “Times like these make us realise the importance of good health and how grateful we should be for it! Health to me is not just physical but also mental and emotional well being. How joyful and happy you are at all times irrespective of the external factors determines your health. Making the right choices is the key and if you haven’t already started then do it now. We need to be healthy more so now than ever before !! This world health day takes a step towards your well being!! Eat right, think positive, live happily, Stay Safe, Stay home.(sic).”
On the professional front, the actress is currently working on Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film, Indian 2. She is also shooting for her long-delayed film, Ayalaan, which has Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role.
The film is touted to be a science-fiction thriller, directed by R Ravikumar.
