All Astro customers can enjoy Twisttu, a unique, new mini series featuring popular local celebrities premiering on Astro Vaanavil (CH 201) from 11 April at 4pm with a
new episode everyday, on TV and Astro GO.
The series is directed by Karthik Shamalan (director of En Veetu Thottathil and Suhamai Subbulakshmi). Twisttu puts the creative storytelling abilities of well-known Malaysian film personalities to the test including:
• Shalini Balasundram, director of ‘Pulanaivu’;
• Bala Ganapathi William, director, producer, actor and TV host;
• Kavi Nanthan, director of ‘Venpa’;
• Mathan, director of short film ‘Love in 12 Hours’;
• RMS Sara, director, producer, actor;
• Kuben Mahadevan, actor; and,
• Denes Kumar, director, producer, actor and host.
Our local storytellers will narrate an episode each, which will include exciting twists that
are bound to leave viewers entertained. Episode twists include new character development – both protagonists and antagonists, elements of suspense, science-fiction aspects, real-life connections and more. Guest artistes for every following episode will have to creatively continue from the incomplete story told.
