Vishnu Vishal, who is upbeat about his upcoming flick FIR, has signed a new film titled Mohandas. He made the announcement on Twitter and unveiled the film’s teaser. The new film will be directed by Murali Karthick, who made his debut with Kalavu.
Taking to Twitter, Vishnu wrote, “Here’s the TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT TEASER of my next, directed by @im_the_TWIST . This time the hammer is in my hands (sic).”
The shooting of Mohandas will begin once the lockdown is lifted. Vishnu Vishal is also doubling up as the film’s producer and he will be bankrolling the project under his home banner, Vishnu Vishal Studioz.
Mohandas’ technical crew consists of cinematographer Vignesh Rajagopalan, editor Kripakaran and music director KS Sundaramurthy. The makers will finalise the rest of the cast and crew in the coming days.
On the work front, Vishnu Vishal is awaiting the release of his upcoming film, Kaadan, directed by Prabhu Solomon. The film starring Rana Daggubati was supposed to hit the theatres on April 2 but has now been postponed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
