A total of 23 people, including women and teenagers, were detained following a raid on a private party in Setapak. Acting on a top off, Wangsa Maju police raided a condominium unit at Jalan Gombak in Setapak around Friday (April 17).

The Wangsa Maju OCPD Supt Rajab Ahad Ismail said 13 men and 10 women, aged from 14 to 23 were detained there. They also seized five packets believed to be ketamine and eight Eramin 5 pills.

The police believe that those detained were close friends invited to the party via WhatsApp. Urine tests were performed and seven men and four women tested positive for drugs.

The suspects were remanded a day at the Jinjang central lockup and the investigation has been forwarded to the Deputy Public Prosecutor.

PDRM has urged anyone with inquiries or information to call the KL police hotline at 03-21159999, or any nearest police station.
