Article 15 starring Ayushmann Khuranna was one of the most acclaimed films in Indian cinema last year. The Hindi movie made over RM 36 million at the domestic box office.
Recently, the producer of Nerkonda Paarvai, Boney Kapoor bagged the remake rights. Now, it has been finalized that Udhayanidhi Stalin will be reprising Ayushmann’s role of a police officer in a rural area.
Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the film is about an honest police officer who prohibits discrimination on the basis of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth. The film earned widespread critical acclaim and emerged as a huge commercial success.
