Karthik Shaamalan, the award winning director of The Farm: En Veethu Thottathil has come up with his latest offering, the short film Naukrani. Karthik has singlehandedly shot, written and directed this film.
The tale begins with Ani who is a Naukrani (maid) in the household of Vishwa and Suganthi with their adopted child Adele. This film is based on real life incidents.
Shameshan Mani Maran has taken over the music for Naukrani. The short film stars Fiena Mukthar, K Niva Haran, Suvarna Panjavaranam and Jay Kishen.
