A few days ago, Trisha and director Gautham Menon announced that they have teamed up together for a film, during the lockdown. The two have now taken to social media to share the teaser of their short film titled Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn.
Without divulging any details about the film, Trisha shared the teaser link on her Twitter page. The teaser has clocked in more than 20,000 views on YouTube.
In the teaser, which was shot by Trisha and her mom Uma Krishnan, the actress’s character Jessy, can be seen giving a motivational speech. She said, “Write. There’s so much beauty in your writing. But, don’t force it. You’re an artist and it will naturally come to you. Theatres will be opened soon. People from Netflix and Amazon would approach you. They just want pure good content. Everything will be alright.”
The teaser ends with two words, “There’s hope”, with the iconic Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya music playing in the background.
The release date of Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn will be announced soon.
