Samantha Akkineni has been making the most of quarantine with her husband Naga Chaitanya and their pet dog, Hash. Recently, she has discovered her passion for gardening.
In her post, she said that acting has been her work and her hobby all these years. However, her stint with gardening opened her eyes to a whole new world.
Sharing a photo of herself with her home-grown lettuce, Samantha wrote, “I finally found something I am passionate about that is not part of my job?? .. I was starting to get tired of answering people when they asked me ‘What is your hobby?’ …Me -‘Acting’ … Them – ‘But that’s your job. What is your hobby ?’ (sic).”
Two days ago, Samantha took to Instagram to reveal that she has harvested her first batch of microgreens. She further gave a step-by-step guide for her fans to grow their own microgreens at their home.
Samantha has also been spending her lockdown time productively by learning healthy cooking and sustainable living from nutrition expert, Sridevi Jasti. Often, she treats fans to photos and videos of her cooking skills.
Samantha Akkineni was last seen in director C Prem Kumar’s Jaanu, which is the Telugu remake of Tamil film, 96. She will be making her digital debut with The Family Man 2, which is slated to release later this year. She is all set to begin shooting for her Tamil film with director Ashwin Saravanan.
