Actor Vijay has donated a total number of RM 728,500.50 (₹ 1.3 billion) to the Prime Minister Cares Fund, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s relief fund, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Puducherry Chief Minister Relief Fund aid of the Covid-19 pandemic.
He also contributed RM 140,183.96 (₹ 2.5 million) to Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) to upgrade the households of wage labourers.
In conjunction with Vijay’s birthday, he has requested his fans to not get into any celebrations amid the Covid-19 pandemic. He also asked fans to not come out and celebrate his birthday.
The actor said he will reveal his movie updates on his birthday, June 22nd.
