Local rapper MC Syze’s new track, ATCL, has lots of love in it.
The track depicts his own love story. ATCL is an English adaptation of his new song, Jatuh, released this February.
ATCL was in works since 2014 but the song took a different path after a verse by Sophia Liana changed the course of the song, thus resulting in Jatuh.
In 2018, Singaporean producer, Fauxe made some stunning changes to the tune, which resulted in the way it sounds today. ATCL also provides scores from local jazz hero, Conrado (Coni) Soliano and elements of choir vocals by electropop musician, Darren Ashley.
Born Ashish Rajahser, Syze has been active in the industry since 2004. He has been working very hard as an independant artist, without any support from big labels and completed his debut album, Syze Does Matter.
In the past, Syze has worked with prominent names in the industry, including Balan Kashmir, Sheezay and Stylomannavan.
Syze’s next album is set to release this year. The album will also feature several local artists.
As for ATCL, it is currently on all streaming platforms. The rapper confirmed that there will be a music video in the near future.
