A big shout out to the Malaysians who won big at The Prestigious Global Humanitarian Award.
The World Humanitarian Drive (WHD), takes pride in honouring two Indians and an Indian veteran association in Malaysia with the prestigious Global Humanitarian Award; Stars of COVID. This prestigious award ceremony was held over the internet on 28th June.
Excellence in Business (Great Dynamos): Dr Florance Manoranjitham Sinniah
Excellence in Social Work (Best Societal Spirits): R. Naraesh Pillai
Excellence in Social Welfare (Pillars of Society): Malaysian Indian Armed Forces Veteran Penang
As part of ‘Honouring The Honourable’ initiative of World Humanitarian Drive (WHD), Founder Abdul Basit Syed said these stars got into action and were helping humanity fight against the deadly Covid-19.
“The major objective of this award was to show gratitude and honour the incredible volunteers who have always been contributing to the betterment of humanity especially during this crisis of Covid-19.
“When the entire world was shut down and afraid to step out, these stars lent a helping hand to the world out there that was battling the coronavirus.
“WHD takes pride in honouring them and these stars who are promoting the best for humanity,” he said in a statement.
