Asia’s Divette, Jaclyn Victor co-owns a bar-restaurant at Jalan Telawi, Bangsar. BATS the abbreviation for Bar At Telawi Street is owned by herself and close friend, fan, and businessman Geoffrey Leembruggen. In her earlier days, Jaclyn started as a singer, singing in taverns at Klang Valley before rising to fame locally and internationally.
She took to her social media, announcing her co-partnering in BATS, “Hi all! I have some exciting news — I am now the proud co-owner of BATS, a laid back, cozy and chill joint in Bangsar Baru. See you there!” Inspired by singer-actor Sean Ghazi of P. Ramlee, who owns a fine dining restaurant with live music at Bukit Bandaraya, Bangsar, Jaclyn thought it’s time for her to go beyond singing, venturing into a bar-restaurant with live music.
Initially, Jaclyn had no plans on this venture but her love for the place got her to rub shoulders with Geoffrey to co-own BATS. BATS is a bar and restaurant with a very chic and chill atmosphere, able to accommodate roughly up to 40 to 50 people. This place offers you a variety of cuisine from Italian, Western to Asian. Highlighting, here at BATS you would also stand a chance to watch Jaclyn herself perform live. This place is an all-rounder with good food, great ambiance, and live music for you to vibe on.
