290 Areas In Klang Valley to Experience Water Disruption From 14th – 17th July

Another scheduled water disruption arising this year?

The National Water Services Commission (SPAN) CEO Ahmad Faizal Abdul Rahman, has announced that nearly 290 areas around Klang Valley will experience water supply disruption for up to four days.

“At 9 am on 14th July 2020, the Sungai Selangor Phase 3 Water Treatment Plant (SSP3 WTP) will be temporarily shut down. As a result of this, 290 areas in Petaling, Klang, Gombak, Kuala Lumpur, and Kuala Langat regions will experience a temporary disruption in water supply,” Air Selangor said in a statement.

The water disruption will commence on July 14th at 9 am, while the Water Treatment Plant is expected to be fully operational again by 5 pm on July 17th. Air Selangor has provided a full list of areas that will be affected by the water supply disruption.
