During tough times of the Movement Control Order (MCO), an 82-year-old grandmother had been growing and tending a mini plantation of Indian herbs and vegetables at a children’s playground near her house. She then sells the vegetables for a small profit to sustain herself.

The plantation was done in a small area at the public park, however, Seremban officials sent her a notice to remove her plantation. In just a few days prior to the notice, the whole plantation was ripped apart by Seremban authorities, leaving her in a state of shock.

The old lady was not given the privilege of time to shift her plants elsewhere and it has left her completely devastated seeing the whole land cleared up. The plantations played an important role in her life to help her overcome the sorrow of her deceased husband.
