RICKSHA: A Brand New Banana Leaf Eatery To Open In Bangsar!

Since the Movement Control Order (MCO) came into effect, Malaysia’s economy spiralled downwards drastically. The Food and Beverage (F&B) industry has been gravely hit too with many workers being laid off from their jobs as restaurants were ordered to close during the lockdown period.

This led to thousands of Malaysians losing their jobs during the MCO.

Having to pay bills and put food on the table, many enterprising Malaysians started diversifying by setting up online businesses, food delivery businesses and many more.

A brand new banana leaf restaurant in Bangsar “RICKSHA” recognises this problem and is willing to help those who have lost their jobs during the MCO period by welcoming them to apply for available positions at their new and upcoming restaurant.

Interested in becoming part of their team, kindly contact “Ricksha’s” manager  Mr. Maran on his mobile, 011 1873 3115 or send in your resumes to ricksha.bangsar@gmail.com by 25th of August.

“RICKSHA”  is in the midst of putting its finishing touches to their restaurant, which has been designed and renovated in exactly 30 days and is tentatively opening its doors for business in the first week of September. Operation hours of the restaurant are slated to be from 7am to 9pm daily.

“RICKSHA” presents you with an array of South Indian cooking that will specialise in dishes from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. The menus’ are still left unrevealed and will be introduced at the restaurant’s grand opening.

According to Maran, he is adding some interesting elements to make the restaurant showcase a homely look. The team is preparing a dining concept that is made of wood to create a natural style and present a different ambiance to its customers.

“Normally, we purchase wood-like furniture for our homes, but it’s the first time for a restaurant to incorporate that look,” he added.

Mr. Maran added that their in house barista is an ex hotelier who whips up some interesting variants of coffee (being a coffee addict, this news just made our day and we are so eager to try their coffee’s with a twist).

Are you curious about the restaurant’s interior and food? Satisfy your curiosity by dropping by the restaurant at 9A, Jalan Telawi 5, Bangsar. We can’t wait for the opening of “RICKSHA” and to indulge in some delish banana leaf meal!
