Sunway Pyramid is one of the most visited shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur for locals and tourists alike.
About an hour ago, Sunway Pyramid management has taken to their Facebook Page by releasing a statement of staff from the Nike store testing positive for Covid-19. The staff who tested positive apparently works at the Nike outlet on the first floor and the authorities have carried out a thorough deep cleaning and disinfection as well as sanitisation throughout the premises; and is increasing the frequency of such processes on a daily basis.

Meanwhile, Malaysia recorded 82 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday-Sept 26, bringing the total infections in the country to 10,769.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said 79 were local transmissions while the rest were imported cases, of the 82 cases. The local transmission cases comprise 53 Malaysians and 26 foreigners.
Of the 79 local transmission cases, Dr Noor Hisham said Sabah recorded the highest number of cases with 64 while the rest were from other states such as Negri Sembilan, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.
