Mid Valley, The Gardens Mall & 3 Damansara Mall Staff Tests Positive For Covid-19

A Covid-19 positive case involving an employee of London Sales Cosmetics Sdn Bhd, which has three outlets situated inMid Valley and the Gardens mall, has been confirmed by the mall’s management.

All three outlets operated by LSC, Surreal by Elevatione Time Stops in Mid Valley and Origani and Elevatione Time Stops at The Gardens Mall were ordered to close. The management, via a statement posted on The Gardens Mall’s Facebook page today, said sanitisation and disinfection of all three outlets under LSC, including all common areas throughout both malls, were ongoing.

The management of 3 Damansara shopping mall (formerly Tropicana City Mall) in Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya, has confirmed a Covid-19 case involving the mall’s security personnel stationed at its fire command centre.


The management of the mall said that mall workers who have been in close contact with the employee have tested negative and will undergo 14 days of quarantine.

A total number of 561 new cover cases were reported yesterday, with two deaths bringing the total number of fatalities to 157. Cumulatively, a total number of infections is now at 15,657 with active cases that rose to 4,587, while the number of recoveries are smaller than new cases of infections.

Out of the positive cases, 90 are currently in intensive care units, with respiratory assistance needed for 29 of them according to Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
