It’s Movember!. A time when men around the world come together to stand up for the cause!

Movember is a conquest of month-long annual celebration to increase awareness about male medical issues, such as depression, testicular cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer (yes, men can develop breast cancer too!) and other related male cancers. Men usually participate in this event by growing moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of the cause.

In honouring Movember, Theyvekgan Thamarai Chelvan or fondly known as RJ Theyv from Minnal FM has come up with a video entitled CANCER to create and enlighten a positive change for men’s health by raising awareness and educating men year-round. He has urged all men to get their yearly health screenings in order to prevent the worst outcome.

This video is not meant to override the experience and judgement of the health care staff with medical advice, however it’s an effort to help our community realise the importance of being made aware of prostate cancer.

So, let’s join hands with one anther to show our support and solidarity for men who are living with cancer and encourage them to keep fighting the disease and to never lose the battle!
