Deepavali is all about valuing our close relationships in hopes of bringing about unity and love, as we embrace our dearest family.
In most families, the backbone holding the FAMILY as one, sculpting them together, is always our Amma.
She is the ray of light that beams up the whole family, illuminating us with happiness, sacrificing her own to put a smile on our faces!
In an effort to appreciate all moms out there, RTM Malaysia will be premiering;
a special movie titled ‘Untukmu Amma’ on 14th November 2020, 9 pM on TV1.
The movie is featured by many renowned artists of the Malaysian Tamil film industry such as Satya, Susie Susila, Saravanan Vishwa, Karthik Jay, Maha Sam, Darvind Nair, Bavishan Nair, Hassvitha and Johnson Lam.
Untukmu Amma is brilliantly scripted by Meera Natasya touching on an eccentric topic that is close to all our hearts and is exclusively produced by Light Magic Studious.
This story tales on the never ending sacrfices a mother makes striving hard for the life of her children ever since they were brought to the world and even after they have outgrown her arms.
This time around, as we celebrate Deepavali in the ‘new norm’, I guess we would have more time to reminisce special family moments, and for some blessed ones the privilege to spend time with their families, especially with our beloved moms.
A mother’s love knows no bounds and is eternal. With that said, while you sit down in your living room and watch this special Deepavali tribute to your mothers, remember to give them a big hug after the show ends.
