Piravi Sittam; A Documentary On Intriguing Hinduism Mysteries Premiering On 12th December

A new local Tamil documentary, Piravi Sittam featuring many mysterious and fascinating elements surrounding Hinduism, in particular of the local Siddhars and Hindu saints is premiering on 12th  December, 9pm.

It is a documentary series of eight episodes highlighting Malaysian Siddhars, their roots and contributions to the local communities.

This documentary will also address the virtues of traditional medicine, yoga, breathing exercises, the practise of vegetarianism and the eight places where a ritual performed reaching the transcendent spiritual state (Jeeva Samadhi & Mukthi Nilai);

  1. Sri Jeganathar Sivalaya Ashram
  2. Kasivasi Kandaiya Swamy Samadi in Perak
  3. Sittar Palanisamy Meditation Centre
  4. Brammah Sri Swami Sarahana Bhavanantha Samathi
  5. Sri Ranganatha Swamy Madalayam
  6. Kandaswamy Temple in Penang
  7. Sri Sivapithu Gurumatha (Amma)
  8. Swamy Santhanantha Sitthar in Kedah.

The first documentary of its kind exposes several interesting and lesser-known hindu mysteries.

Piravi Sittam was directed by Chilian S Perumal and is hosted by local talent, Arulselvan Selvasamy and Meena Kumari Kadianpan, the famous radio announcer and script writer for various tv shows.
