Superstar Rajinikanth announced that his political party which was supposed to launch on 31st December will not be taking place and he will not enter the electoral and political fray. The actor apologised to his ardent fans on his decision in a three-page declaration that he wrote on Twitter.
“I only know the pain of announcing this decision,” he said, adding that he will represent people without joining electoral politics. Come January 2021, before the forthcoming assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, the 70-year-old actor was initially scheduled to announce his political party.
