After the success of Geethaiyin Raadhai, actor and director Shalini Balasundaram is back with another directorial venture.

Shalini’s brand new film is entitled Thirudathey Papa Thirudathey (TPT), and it’s set to hit cinemas nationwide on the 16th of August. The movie is centered around social issues and real problems in the society.

TPT stars Shalini Balasundaram, Saresh D7, Kabil Ganesan, Yuvaraj Krishnasamy, Manula Joseph, Irfan, and more. Ztish is onboard as music director.

Varnam.my recently contacted Saresh D7 to ask him about his role is TPT, and how is this experience different compared to his previous film, Sughamaai Subbulakshmi (SSL).

“I think people will be able to relate to my character in TPT, just like they did in SSL. However, TPT is a completely different story and topic. The issue is theft, which is a very sensitive issue to tackle. So the audience will see another side of Saresh, one that is completely different from Velan (in SSL).” Saresh told Varnam.

“There were two challenges I faced for TPT. One is that I tried to put on weight and it didn’t quite work out. Another challenge is the love scenes. I’m very poor when it comes to love or romantic scenes,” Saresh added with a laugh.

“Also, you’ll see me dancing a bit in this one!”

Thirudathey Papa Thirudathey will be in cinemas starting August 16th.
