Sabesh Manmathan Receives “Rise Singer Award” On India’s 72nd Republic Day

As we all know, our Malaysian born artist has achieved immense recognition and success  in the highly competitive Kollywood scene, most recently with his work on a Tamil blockbuster.

A name that needs no introduction, Sabesh Manmathan who was featured in D.Imman’s collaboration with Jayam Ravi’s 25th Movie; “Boomi”, was awarded the ‘RISE SINGER AWARD’.

He received this award on India’s 72nd Republic DAY from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam People’s Welfare in Puthukottai, Kamaraj Nagar, Ponamarvathy, Tamil Nadu, India.

He shared a video on his Instagram stating;

It was an honour to receive this award on the 72th Republic day of India. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my parents, family and friends for being there always.

Not forgetting, Imman sir for giving me the opportunity to sing for Jayam Ravi sir’ 25th movie, ‘Bhoomi’ which is now out on Disney Plus Hotstar and also Dr Anba and Dr Baskar for organising such an event.

To receive the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam’s “Rise Singer Award’ is a big thing. Thank you so much to everyone. I hope all of us can reach great heights together one day. Stay safe and Vande Maataram.

He sang the song, Vande Maataram for D.Imman. Congratulations to our Malaysian Star and we for Varnam wish Sabesh Manmathan all the best in his future undertakings.
