Actor Madhavan Conferred A Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) Degree For Impressive Contribution In Cinematic and Arts

On Wednesday actor Madhavan, who recently melted our hearts through his “Maara,” movie was awarded the Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) degree by DY Patil Education Society, Kolhapur. He was honoured for his outstanding contribution to the arts and cinema field.

The event took place at the 9th convocation ceremony of DY Patil Education Society, where the chancellor, the vice-chancellor, members of the academic council, and the board of management came together to honour the legendary Madhavan.

According to Bussinessworld, after receiving the accolade, Madhavan said;

I am truly humbled by this honour. This will only motivate me to keep pushing the envelope and challenging myself with newer projects.  

This 50-year-old is not just an actor, but a writer, a producer, a director, and he has now managed to attain another milestone that will not stop him from reaching greater heights. 

To the younger generation, he has always been a great example and he will always be one. So keep inspiring us, sir!
